How important is professional hair/makeup?

EXTREMELY important! Here's why... we will have bright light on you which can tend to wash out skin tones a bit. We compare the professional makeup to "stage makeup". The contours of your face and bone structure should be visible in photos -- even for a natural look. We promise your photos won't look "overdone". Our stylists are also able to smooth out any fly-aways with your hair and give us the volume we really want for your shoot that stays. You may not get the results you desire by doing your own hair/makeup unless you are a professional stylist yourself, or you prefer to use your own stylist prior to arriving. We highly recommend adding this service.

I don't want to do photos that are SUPER sexy. What are my options?

More and more we have clients coming to us that bring jeans and a tank, sweaters, shorts, & dresses. This is your shoot!! You can style it any way you wish.

How often do the payments happen?

We will charge you for one payment today and then another in 4 weeks. This includes your sales tax. Contact us to book your shoot on the calendar.

HAIR & MAKEUP STYLING

Professional hair and makeup styling is available for your session and must be reserved in advance. Your stylist will create a polished, camera-ready look designed around your features, wardrobe, and the style of your shoot. If styling is during booking, arrive with a clean face and clean, fully dry hair. We’ll take care of the rest.

IN STUDIO | PHOTO REVEAL

Your private Photo Reveal is where you’ll see the strongest images from your session and choose the photographs you want to keep. Standard reveals are scheduled for a separate appointment. Prefer to make your selections the same day? A same-day Photo Reveal is available as a package upgrade when reserved in advance.

EXPERT DIRECTION | POSING

You do not need to know how to pose. I’ll direct you through expression, posture, movement, angles, and the small adjustments that make a significant difference on camera. I demonstrate poses when needed and guide you throughout the entire session, so you’ll never be left wondering what to do next.

WHAT TO WEAR | OUTFIT STYLING

Bring pieces that fit well, make you feel good, and give us some variety to work with. Lingerie, bodysuits, teddies, chemises, corsets, oversized shirts, robes, and even unexpected wardrobe pieces can all photograph beautifully.

Not sure what works best? Bring options. I’m happy to help you make the final choices before we shoot.

MINI GUIDE

BRA & PANTY: A classic choice with endless options. Demi, push-up, and balconette bras pair beautifully with bikini, thong, or high-cut bottoms.
THE TEDDY: Creates a long, clean silhouette while offering a little more coverage through the midsection. Usually best without traditional stockings.
THE CHEMISE: Soft, flattering, and easy to wear. Pair with a simple thong or bikini bottom underneath.
THE CORSET: Adds structure, lift, and definition through the waist and bust. Pair with a sleek bikini or high-cut bottom.
THE BABYDOLL: Soft and feminine with more coverage through the midsection while still showing shape through the hips and legs.

THE PRO TIPS

To add variety to your wardrobe, bring a supportive black or nude bra that can be layered underneath different pieces. And don’t forget a favorite pair of heels—when they work with the outfit, they can change posture and visually lengthen the leg.

Your final collection can be as simple or as complete as you want it to be. High-resolution digital images are professionally retouched and delivered ready to keep, print, and enjoy.

Q: I am so awkward in front of the camera. Can you still make me look awesome?

Heck yes!!! And don't worry everyone asks that. We don't work with trained models, we work with real women just like us. Meaning we know every trick in the book to make you looked relaxed. And we know all the most flattering poses!!!

Q: Do I bring my own outfits?

Yes! We recommend you bring your own outfits for three reasons: 1) You will know it fits you in all the right places and you will have tried everything on before arriving which helps your confidence level. 2) While we have some lovely accessory options and a few lingerie pieces in the studio...we cannot carry a full closet of lingerie to accommodate every size and look. You are welcome to borrow anything we have that might augment your look 3) If you are planning to share your photos with someone special, they may want to see you "in person" wearing the very same outfit!
