YVONNE DENAULT
Yvonne Denault is a Fargo-based photographer and visual artist specializing in personal branding, commercial photography, and portraiture. Since 2009, she has photographed people who don’t necessarily know what to do in front of a camera—and built a career around making sure they never have to.
Her approach combines intentional lighting, thoughtful direction, and an instinct for the details that make an image feel polished without losing the person inside it. Whether she’s creating a clean professional headshot or an entire library of brand imagery, Yvonne directs every session from expression and posing to wardrobe, composition, and visual continuity.
Before photography became her primary medium, Yvonne taught graphic design and owned a fashion boutique—experience that still shapes the way she sees a brand. She understands color, typography, styling, composition, marketing, and the difference between making something beautiful and making something useful.
That perspective has expanded her role far beyond simply taking photographs. Yvonne works with entrepreneurs and professionals as a creative partner, helping them translate who they are and what they do into imagery that feels cohesive, recognizable, and unmistakably their own.

Before establishing her full-time studio, she spent nearly a decade in the corporate software industry with Great Plains and Microsoft, worked for eight years as an inspirational collegiate graphic design professor, and owned and operated a boutique advertising agency for twenty years. To deepen her understanding of form and silhouette, she also curated and ran a contemporary local women’s fashion boutique.

Before building her photography business, Yvonne spent more than a decade working across graphic design, advertising, brand development, and higher education—including six years on the brand team at Microsoft, teaching graphic design at the college level, running her own creative agency collaborative, and designing for clients across the U.S. and internationally.photography became her primary medium.
She also downed a fashion boutique—experience that still shapes the way she sees a brand. She understands color, typography, styling, composition, marketing, and the difference between making something beautiful and making something useful.

Kjirsten is a graduate of the Model College of Hair Design out of St. Cloud, Minnesota; and she has over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. She's not only a wizard with bridal makeup (credentialed by Mirabella Cosmetics in 2012), but also a co-owner and maestro stylist at The Hive Salon in Fargo.
Her artistic journey never ceases; always evolving through the latest beauty trends, industry shows, and elite training to deliver only the most exceptional products and techniques at your appointment.
Kjirsten and her husband enjoy two wonderful daughters and live in Fargo. Life beyond the salon sparkles with family ties, the thrill of biking, the serenity of hiking, the escape of travel, and the comfort of home-cooked meals.

Olivia is married, we have 2 cats and loves to travel. She has a passion for yoga and staying active and with pole fitness.
